CSCI 202 Research Methods is a course that introduces undergraduate students to various aspects of how research is done. In the course, students learn how to:
- Identify a topic to research
- Conduct literature searches
- Read scientific publications critically for deep understanding
- Generate, record, and analyze quantitative data
- Generate visual narratives from data
- Write proposals and scientific communications
- Deliver effective presentations to communicate one’s scientific production
