CSCI 202 Research Methods is a course that introduces undergraduate students to various aspects of how research is done. In the course, students learn how to:

  • Identify a topic to research
  • Conduct literature searches
  • Read scientific publications critically for deep understanding
  • Generate, record, and analyze quantitative data
  • Generate visual narratives from data
  • Write proposals and scientific communications
  • Deliver effective presentations to communicate one’s scientific production
